How do I configure my Stream4K Stalker Portal on CAST4K?
To connect your Stalker portal, you must first identify the unique virtual MAC address generated by the CAST4K application within the settings menu (this string typically begins with 00:1A:79). You will need to provide this exact MAC address to the Stream4K admin to activate your subscription on that specific device.
Why is my Video Club or Live TV buffering?
CAST4K is heavily optimized to prevent app-side stuttering. However, true 4K content requires a sustained, unthrottled bitrate of 25-35 Mbps. If you experience buffering, it is usually caused by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) throttling your connection. We highly recommend using a premium VPN to encrypt your streaming traffic.
Additionally, check your device’s internal memory. You must maintain a minimum of 500 MB of free storage space. The application utilizes this local memory to actively cache heavy 4K video files; without it, the stream will freeze regardless of your internet speed.
Can I share my CAST4K profile with family using the QR code?
While CAST4K allows you to easily copy your profile to another device via QR code, your Stream4K subscription determines how many screens you can watch at the same time. If your subscription is strictly limited to a single concurrent connection, attempting to watch live television on two devices simultaneously via the shared QR profile will result in an immediate IP block. Please upgrade your package if you need multi-room viewing.
